Holes, fractured teeth, fillings
Do you have broken teeth? Are they sensitive to hot & cold? Something catching on your tongue?
Recurrent build up of bacteria (plaque and calculus), a high sugar intake, trauma can cause teeth to weaken and break; you may need a filling. Our ethos is prevention is always better than cure. We are here to help look after your smile. At every check-up the dentist will examine all of the teeth and recommend any treatment that is required.
Don’t like your old silver fillings? These can be changed to tooth coloured fillings. White fillings look more natural and can last just as long as silver fillings. Contact our friendly team to discuss their replacement.
Root Canal Treatment
Are your teeth sensitive to hot and cold? Severe throbbing pain? Pain killers not helping? Limited mouth opening? Swelling? Constant bleeding? Bleeding gums? Foul smell?
Recurrent build up of bacteria and calculus can cause holes in our teeth. If too large, it can kill the nerve in the tooth. This can cause toothache, infections and a dental abscess. These can be very painful and debilitating. A severe abscess can be life threatening. Thankfully, we may be able to save your teeth through a procedure called root canal treatment. The tooth is then usually restored with a filling or a crown.
It should a pain free experience once the local anaesthetic has taken effect. Give our friendly team a call to see how we can help. We can usually see dental emergencies on the same day.
